Behr Pick: Equality

That's right all....this morning every Californian woke up EQUAL. Quite a rush, eh? I understand that the rallies that were organized throughout the state and country turned into celebrations. And if anyone knows how to throw a party it's teh gays! From the Castro to San Diego to New York to DC the rejoicing and joy echoed throughout the land.

As we we celebrate let's remember that we may have won yesterday but the battle is far from over. We know that Judge Walker's decision will be appealed to the 9th Circuit Court...and whatever outcome is handed down will result in an appeal to the Supreme Court of the United States. And we all know that the Supremes are not ready and/or willing to take on the case. We think we know how they would ruled based on the humanity involved. That might not be the case.

However, until that hurdle is before us, we can celebrate. BEHR HUGS!!
