Tim Burton, the incredible director of such movies as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood, Sleepy Hollow, Mars Attacks, and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, is bring us Alice in Wonderland. Ask me how stoked I am. I have been a Burton fan forever (okay since Pee Wee's Big Adventure). And from these preview pictures, it looks like it's another winning hit! Yes, that's Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham-Carter as the Red Queen, Anne Hathaway as the White Queen, and 19-year old Mia Wasikowska as Alice. Matt Lucas, of Little Britain fame, plays Tweedledee and Tweedledum. Alan Rickman is the Caterpillar and Stephen Fry plays Cheshire Cat. Brilliant casting. Unfortunately, we must wait until March 2010 which is the initial release date. I am so looking forward to Burton's dark take on Lewis Carroll's timeless classic story! BEHR HUGS!
