A Couple of Days
I'm taking today and tomorrow off as vacation days. No plans, just knocking out a couple of days before the end of the year. Thinking I'll do stuff around the house (if I find motivation) and perhaps see a movie.
Wouldn't mind having an encounter with the above furry hunk. That nipple tat drives me wild.

Today is the Day

Today is the day I see the ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat) specialist and will find out if it's a cyst, tumor, or alien nesting in my head. I really think it's going to be a "non-event" meaning it is going to turn out to be a minor condition. I'm relying on the attending physician who says the specialist should be able to take care of it without surgery. I'm really not that worried.
I'm also seeing the ophthalmologist in the afternoon since it's been about three years and I'm fairly certain my eyes have changed. And not for the better. It's never for the better, is it? If my prescription has changed I'm hoping to get new lenses and keep my cool Prada frames. I also want to get a spare pair of glasses. I only have the one pair plus prescription sunglasses. A second pair would ease mind about accidentally damaging my Prada pair.
So what all this means is I'm not going to work and could sleep in. Oh how I wish I could have awakened next to this absolutely gorgeous man, Zied. Although not furry he's a beefy hunk and my word! look at those pectorals! He's just waiting for a tongue bath! I would happily oblige.
Yesterday I had a nice little incident happen. I was walking toward the Red Line - it's the Los Angeles underground light rail - and was waiting for the light to change at an intersection. Some guy walked up next to me and I really didn't think anything about it. Through my peripheral vision I noticed he turned toward me. Since I was listening to my iPod, I heard muffled sound so I pulled out the one earphone and said "I'm sorry?" He said "It's awfully cool for summer." I responded in agreement, saying something about it almost being August and we have yet to have summer weather. He smiled and then the light changed and off we went. We weren't exactly in step but he also was going down into the subway system. He veered off toward another line and that was that. I just was kind of taken aback that a total stranger - make that a CUTE total stranger - would speak to me about something as innocuous as the weather, especially since I was listening to myiPod. The only explanation I can offer is that he saw the NOH8 button on my backpack and he wanted to speak to me.
I'll post an update later today or perhaps tomorrow morning on the two appointments. Wish me luck - I'd really hate for it to be an alien nesting in my head. BEHR HUGS!!

Behr Pick: Painted Hunk

This is perhaps especially true as those of us in the U.S. prepare to celebrate Independence Day. We are Americans of which - deep down - we are proud to be. As gay Americans, that pride is tarnished by our second class citizenship. It's a tough place to be. Just because of who we love and who we are.
In Del Shores' "Sordid Lives," Ty, the gay character, talks about how he loved church as a boy and he misses church as a gay adult. He then says "How do you embrace something that doesn't embrace you?"
That's America. We love this country because it does afford us many freedoms; just not the same freedoms as everyone else. We love this country because, despite its many shortcomings, it is the greatest country on the face of the earth. But is that enough? Do we continue to embrace this great country that does not embrace us? Or is it time to abandon our complacency and step up to the plate to issue a call to action? Do we fight back? And when I say fight, I mean FIGHT. Do we dare rise up against the democratic aristocracy that is known as Congress and the clergy? Do we become like the French Resistance fighters of WWII or those who ran the Underground Railroad during the American Civil War? Do we truly have a cause worth fighting for?
I don't know the answer. But this July 4 as we barbecue, watch fireworks and perhaps get a little drunk - let's examine ourselves and our situation and ask ourselves: are we satisfied with being just Americans? Or do we want to be GAY Americans?

Friday Hunk

I'm hoping to meet my friend at Disneyland tonight for dinner, fireworks, and a few rides. It's been a while since I've seen him, not since before he got sick. I feel I haven't been very supportive so I'm hoping to make it up to him. Not THAT way!
I don't have many plans for the weekend. maybe something exciting will happen so I have something to blog on Monday.
Have a great Friday and weekend. BEHR HUGS!

Monday Marvel

Here we are, back to Monday. It was a good weekend; the performances on Friday and Saturday night went well. Thankfully, the director doesn't believe in pickup rehearsals so I'm "off" until our next performance Friday night.
In addition to that good news, Wednesday is a holiday. It's Veterans Day and so it's two on-one off-two on this week. I can't complain.
Hope everyone has a good week and a marvelous Monday.

PS: Today's picture subject rocks my world.

Ramsay

I don't remember when or where I found these pictures and I don't even know what his name is. The file name says "Ramsay" so I went with that. I just find him to be extraordinarily hot. The blondish beard, hair, and body fur; the longish hair; the incredible musculature of his body. I like the whole package. I also suspect he's a really nice guy despite the glare. BEHR HUGS!

Ben Corliss

As far as I've been able to determine, Ben Corliss is a body builder first, a model second. He doesn't do nude work (although he comes awfully close) because he has a fiance and daughter. That's right, he's straight. Which is kind of sexy in that he looks like a gay porn star. No offense to him of course, that's not a bad thing. But he is a gorgeous man. Hope you enjoy. BEHR HUGS!

Furry Friday

If you've been paying attention you know that bears are my thing. While I find all levels of furriness attractive - even those without body fur - the more fur the better. And extra poundage doesn't bother me at all: I like some meat on the bones. Now this isn't to say I cannot appreciate a smooth skinned, clean-shaven, muscular hunk. Oh I can! But if you really want my attention, grow a beard, let the body fur grow out, and for crying out loud eat something! *wink* I hope you enjoy today's furry fabulousness. BEHR HUGS!

Found these pictures of this incredible man over on an old post of Roids and Rants (nsfw). I just could not wait to post them. BEHR HUGS!
