If you're anything like me, sometimes it is difficult to find that perfect gift. No matter what the other person hints or says throughout the year, finding something that will not only be useful but appreciated can be a chore.

Christmastime is full of imagery, both secular and non-secular. One such image, of course, is the angel...from the Angel Gabriel to the angels heard on high. This "angel" definitely looks as if he's heaven-sent. He could bring me the "good news" any day of the week.

My those stocking are well hung! With Christmas just down the week, I thought this passionate photo would be a good way to kick off the holiday week. I really like the way these two studs' bodies look and fit together. It's a bit stark, which I like. The focus is totally on the kiss.

My family always decorated Christmas trees very simply and I've continued the tradition. Although I wish I could decorate a tree a la Miss Ginger Grant, I just don't have that talent. Besides...I kind of like seeing the green of the tree. The ornaments are a combination of glass balls I've collected from World Market, porcelain animal ornaments made by Amsbury, and my Mickey Through the Years ornaments. There are some glass bears, some wood birds, and real tacky plastic Target balls that are for cat-batting. The angel on top was crocheted by a friend I worked with years ago.

Oh and yeah...the tree is fake.

That's Winston asleep underneath in the second picture. He doesn't know what a tree is and so it took him a bit to "accept" this "thing" in the house.
