I want to apologize to all of the Blather followers who leave comments...I've turned on the Word Verification. You may remember my complaining about "Anonymous" comments on my blog...these comments never have anything to do with whatever blather I posted and sometimes is very inappropriate. For instance, on one post regarding a friend who passed away, the comments talk about how informative and good the information is. WTF? I've even received some in a foreign language.
Since this is becoming a daily issue, I turned on Word Verification. I already moderate all comments because I'm picky and don't want others using my insignificant blog as a means of "selling" their scam spam sites.
So forgive me.

Okay maybe angry isn't the correct word. Annoyed? Yeah....annoyed is more like it. If anyone else is having this issue I'd like to know.
For the past few weeks I've been received emails from "Anonymous" that are supposedly comments to be posted on my post, Another Loss. Included in the message is a link to "my website" or some such...and no I don't click the link.
Usually when I get such an email, when I access Blogspot there's indication that there is an unmoderated comment. But with these emails there is no corresponding indication on Blogspot. Here's a sample of the messages:

Kind of weird, don't you think? I think my blog has been tagged and is now the recipient of these spam messages. I don't know if opening them is triggering more or if there's a way to stop them. It's about a once a week deal, I guess. Not that bad but still...kind of annoying.
Anyone else having this kind of "attention?"

First, thank you for the kind words. Usually when I get an "anonymous" comment it's threatening me with legal action for posting pictures of hot guys. It was nice to receive a positive message. It always surprises me when told that someone gets something out of Behr Blather. I realize that my posts are far and few between. It does seem to me though that my posts of late have been a little bit more substantive. A far cry from the early days of this blog.
As for offering guest writers...I'm afraid that's not something I want to do. This blog is really for me...that others follow it, comment, and appreciate it is icing on the cake, so-to-speak. And although I'm sure you and others have insight and words of wisdom for me and my followers....Behr Blather is about the Behr. I hope you understand.
