Happy Easter!Just a quick update...the family opted to not go to sunrise service. Dad is in a lot of pain from his surgery and Mom - although she wanted to go - is extremely exhausted (she's having trouble sleeping) and she can't afford to get sick. None of us can. So we're meeting at my parents' for breakfast and later on this evening we'll meet again for dinner. No sermon, no early cold morning, no choir singing the "Hallelujah Chorus," no white doves flying over Rose Hills Memorial park.
Whatever this day means to you, and however you celebrate, I hope it is filled with love, laughter, and joy.
