Cool Me Off (NSFW)

I'd rather be in a pool somewhere. Here in Southern California, we never really had much of a Summer - our temperatures were lower than usual. And now we're experiencing an Autumnal heatwave. Make it go away! At this rate we're going to have a 95-degree Christmas. Ugh.

Rehearsals for the show are going well. The actors fucked up last night and skipped a couple of pages so the director made them re-run the second act. I'd already shut down the light board so I had to reboot it. Ugh. Tonight we'll be running the show as if it were a performance, meaning we'll start at performance time. That's 8:00 p.m. So that means it will definitely be a late night.

Today I'll be getting my flu shot, courtesy of my company. This year we had to schedule appointments. I thought this was a good idea because it guarantees that I'll get it. And hopefully I won't have to wait in some long goddawful line.

Yesterday I received a really nice e-mail from "Jason" who wanted to let me know he loves Behr Blather. Evidently he posts a "woof of the day" on FB and he finds a lot of his pics here. I'm flattered! And I will continue to endeavor to provide high-quality eye candy.

Heatwave!

We here in Southern California are experiencing summer temperatures. Right now - just after 5:30 a.m. - it is 80-degrees in downtown Los Angeles. Thank goodness for air conditioning at work!

I'm feeling a little stressed out about my day and indeed my week. I'm probably adding to it by considering a course of action but we'll see what happens. I don't want to say what it is until it either comes to fruition or I fail.

I hope you're staying cool. Go jump in a pool. Of course, if there's a hot daddy bear in the pool things are going to stay heated up. And that might not be a bad thing.

Behr Pick: Saturday Splash!

Southern California has been hit with a real summer - finally! Average temps will be in the upper 90s to low 100s throughout the southland. It seems when I was a kid we often had triple digit temperatures....but for many years it seemed we never got much beyond mid-90s. Anyway, we're all being warned about restricted activity, drinking lots of water, wearing light-colored clothing (hence my navy blue ensemble, lol), and being mindful of the elderly, the young, and our pets. Today's pick is exactly what I want to do....throw water on some gorgeous hunk then lick him dry!

Thank you to everyone who left a comment on Friday's post. I cannot tell you how loved I feel that you all support me and give me advice and guidance. I literally want to hug each and every one of you!

I was a little sad that I'm not going to attend what will undoubtedly be a fun and refreshing time. I've gotten over that though. It's nearing the noon hour here and I've accomplished quite a bit already this morning. I still have things to do (grocery shopping, ironing, and considering giving Winston a bath) and that will keep me busy. I have a couple of Netflix movies to watch (Valley of the Dolls, Valentine's Day) and I still need to set up my printer. I should also put the small a/c back in the bedroom window! So the day is full and I'm not that sad any more.

Have a wonderful weekend and BEHR HUGS to each and every one of you!!

Wet Wednesday

Here in the Los Angeles area it's been quite warm weather-wise. Perhaps not "Miss Ginger Texas" warm but we angelenos tend to whine about things because it's all about us. It's 104 in Texas? Well it's 98 here and we have traffic AND Governor Terminator. (nyeah nyeah nyeah). But I digress. I thought I would share these pool men in an effort to cool everyone off. Imagine playfully romping in the water or floating aside one of these guys on a hot summer day, enjoying the water and sun. BEHR HUGS!
