Last night I joined a friend at the local gay and lesbian chapter of Narcotics Anonymous fundraiser...dinner, a drag show, raffle and dancing. He had a couple of friends in the drag show and I met a few of his friends. The dinner was good: chicken parmigiana on a bed of spaghetti noodles, salad, and bread. The drag show was fun, especially the one performer who sang his first song live. My friend won a movie basket - I forget which DVDs it contained but it also had movie snacks. We didn't stay for the dance portion; we went out for dessert instead.
I'm not sure what today or tomorrow will hold; I'm just happy to have tomorrow off for Presidents' Day. Hopefully I'll get out and do something rather than continuing my Buffy the Vampire Slayer marathon I've been on.
